If you do not have the option of installing your own photovoltaic system or if you want to invest in a sustainable future, then you may be interested in joining an existing energy cooperative.

For information on admission requirements, contact the cooperative in question directly. It is usually necessary to send a formal application to the relevant board of directors and, once approved, to acquire at least one share in the existing cooperative.

To achieve the best long-term performance, a photovoltaic installation must be maintained and cleaned regularly. Your installation must therefore be checked every 5 to 10 years by a specialist and, where necessary, cleaned. If you have direct access to the panels, you can also clean them yourself on a regular basis.

If you have sufficient roof space, whether you are a private individual, a company, a farmer or a local authority, you can now have photovoltaic panels with a capacity of up to 200 kW_p installed without setting up a cooperative.
